Members of the opposite sex...

Last night my girlfriends and I went out for a little vino. When I got home from the evening I realized almost 90% of our conversation was about the boys in our lives. How sad is that?? How do they have enough power over us that they monopolize a girl's night out convo. Everytime we tried to change the subject, "boys" somehow snuck their way back in! What bothers me the most is knowing that boys don't still around with their friends talking ONLY about us, so why do we girls do it to ourselves?? This is something I will never understand. I've read almost every book under the sun about it, but I still can't figure it out.  I do know that it feels good when you talk to friends and find out you aren't crazy! We all go through the same thoughts and feelings. We just don't know how to process them very well :(

"The Hegarty"

Well another golf tournament comes to an end. I can't believe it's been 20 years. "The Hegarty" has become a holiday in it's own right. It was a joy to have my family from New York and even Ireland in to celebrate. We have gathered to celebrate not only the life of my father, but the life we each are lucky enough to possess. We hold a special place in our hearts for those who have passed, but we also rejoice with everyone who surrounds us. May we all be blessed with the gifts that each day brings. When the dancing ends and the music stops, the celebration continues in our hearts. Celebrate. Remember. Believe. Happy Hegarty

Let the games begin...

Well it's that time of year again...March Madness. It's pretty sick how much basketball I will watch over the next few weeks. I don't know what I will do when I'm employed. Every year it seems to get worse and worse. I used to only care about the Gaels in postseason and that run usually ended quickly. Now, I am watching how the fate of every team ends up in the "big dance". I need help...or a job.
